New Milk Suppliers required to satisfy increased demand. 

We currently farm 345 acres with 280 Jersey cows and their followers to produce approximately 2 million litres of high quality and high constituent milk per year. In addition we purchase a further 4-5 million litres from Jersey milk producers across the south of England. In total we are purchasing approximately 14,000,000 litres of milk in a year – that’s a lot of cheese, yoghurt and desserts!

Using our own fleet of tankers we then distribute this milk to processors of high end and speciality cheeses and quality desserts, alongside more traditional products such as Devonshire clotted cream, icecream and yoghurts. Milk is distributed throughout the south west and into London, where we supply quantities from 1000 in pallecons, to 25000 litres of our fresh quality product delivered by one of our fleet of lorries.

At present, in 2022, we are collecting milk from six farms in the south west, who produce ordinary milk from black and white Holstein Friesian cows. These farms are run to exceptionally high standards of welfare and production, and supply us with lower fat milk suitable for the production of halloumi cheese, mozzarella and paneer cheese etc.
